Garden Party

This picture was taken two weekends ago at my best friend's engagement party! She asked me to be her maid of honour, and I couldn't be more thrilled -- it's my first time taking on MOH duties and the fact that it's for one of my very best friends in the whole world that I've known since I was a toddler, is just the icing on the cake. The party took place at such a beautiful and quaint Italian venue (food was AMAZING - posted a pic of the incredible antipasto on my instagram haha). The pic above was taken specifically at the beginning of the event & before I went behind the lens as the MOH/photographer (for the day!) which I had a blast doing. How beautiful is the scenery with all of the lush greenery? I opted for these red flats for the beginning portion of the event since I spent quite a bit of time running around with my camera :) (also wearing Aritzia Le Fou by Wilfred dress).
